I grew up on this delicious and moist chocolate cake made from scratch!
MOM'S CHOCOLATE CAKE
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
¾ cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup milk
1 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
Directions:
Beat above ingredients for 1-2 minutes.
Slowly mix in an 8 oz. cup (brewed) coffee (regular or decaf, either is fine).
Mix for 1-2 minutes on high (batter is very watery, it is supposed to be that way).
Spray bundt pan very well with Baking Pam and pour batter in and bake for 35-45 minutes (depending on your oven) on 350 degrees F.
Let cake cool completely and then turn over onto a flat cake plate.
Let cool completely and sprinkle with confectioner’s sugar.
