Peanut butter lovers, look no further! The most delicious, most peanut-buttery peanut butter cookies ever (and the most requested cookie by my daughter and boyfriend)!
PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES
1 cup Jif peanut butter
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
Directions:
With an electric mixer, cream butter, sugars and peanut butter. When thoroughly mixed, beat egg and vanilla into the creamed mixture.
Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. After sifting, add flour mixture into the creamed mixture. When thoroughly combined mix in 3 tablespoons of milk.
Use a small or medium cookie scoop and roll into balls, place 2" apart on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a floured fork, press down to make the criss-cross design.
Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
