Peanut Butter Kandy Kake

This cake tastes even better than the real thing!


PEANUT BUTTER KANDY KAKE


Mix together:

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 tsp. vanilla


Blend in:

  • 2 cups flour

  • ¼ tsp. salt

  • 2 tsp. baking powder


Directions:

  1. Bake 15 minutes in greased jellyroll pan at 350 degrees.

  2. As soon as cake is removed from oven, smear peanut butter on it – as thick as you prefer.

  3. When cake is cool, put on frosting.


Frosting:


Heat until boiling:

  • 1 stick butter or margarine

  • 4 tablespoons cocoa

  • 6 tablespoons milk

  • Beat above mixture into 1 pound box of confectioner's sugar
