Mom's Clams and Spaghetti

A delicious pasta dish that's simple enough to make any night of the week!


MOM'S CLAMS AND SPAGHETTI

  • 1 lb. box spaghetti (I prefer angel hair or capellini)

  • 4 Cans of Doxsee minced clams (no MSG)

  • 4-6 cloves of garlic, minced

  • Extra virgin olive oil

  • Parsley (dried or fresh)

  • Basil (fresh)

  • Locatelli Cheese

  • Salt & Pepper


Directions:

  1. Cook pasta according to directions on box (set 1-2 cups of starchy water aside from the spaghetti).

  2. Pour extra virgin olive oil in a fry pan and cover the bottom.

  3. Add salt, pepper, and garlic and sauté on medium heat for about a minute.

  4. Add clams and clam juice.

  5. Cook for about 5 minutes and then pour mixture over spaghetti.

  6. Add starchy water to pasta.

  7. Top with Locatelli cheese and fresh parsley and/or basil.
