Another fabulous recipe by mama Linda! Comfort food at it's finest! Now you know where I got my love of cooking!
PASTA FAGIOLO
3 cans of Progresso Cannellini Beans
1 large jar of Barilla Marinara Sauce
1 lb. box of Ditalini (only use ½ box)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1-2 Cloves Garlic
Parsley
Basil
Salt & pepper
Optional: Add a container of chopped celery and chopped onion
Locatelli Cheese
Directions:
In Dutch oven pot, sauce garlic in extra virgin olive oil (cover bottom of pot).
Add in 3 cans of beans with juice (do not drain!). Simmer 15 minutes.
Add marinara, stir and simmer for approximately 15 minutes.
Cook Ditalini in a separate pot according to directions on box, drain, and add pasta to Dutch oven pot.
Stir and let simmer for another 15 minutes and serve!
